Two car bombs have exploded in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi, killing a policeman and injuring at least 32 people.
The blasts took place within 15 minutes of each other outside the Pakistan-American Cultural Centre in the city.
Reports of a third bomb in the city were later proved to be false.
The injured included journalists, press photographers
and television cameramen, as well as other policemen.
The explosions came a day after two people were killed when a bomb detonated at Karachi's port.
Pakistan's biggest city has been the scene of frequent acts of Islamic militant violence since President Pervez Musharraf joined the US-led war on terror in 2001.
