29 people killed in Kashmir

At least 29 people, including three children, have been killed in Kashmir after a bus packed with Indian soldiers and their families ran over a landmine planted by separatist guerrillas.

The attack, which came one day after the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh took office, was the deadliest in Kashmir since India and Pakistan began a peace process late last year to resolve the dispute over the territory.
