Indonesia has said it will end military rule in the province of Aceh, where the army has been conducting an offensive against separatists.
The military says it has killed around 2,000 members of the Free Aceh Movement, and captured 3,000 others, during the year-long operation.
Indonesian troops will remain in the province.
