The Israeli army has said its troops have shot dead three armed Palestinian militants who entered a Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip.
An army spokeswoman said the gunmen managed to slip into the fortified settlement in the centre of the territory and then threw a grenade at soldiers when they were intercepted in a greenhouse.
No soldiers or settlers were injured.
