The former Minister for Education, Mary O'Rourke, is due to begin her direct evidence to the Mahon Tribunal this afternoon.
Mrs O'Rourke is the only member of the 1989 cabinet who can recall meeting the developer, Tom Gilmartin, in Leinster House in February of 1989.
Mr Gilmartin says that after the alleged meeting, he was accosted by an unidentified man in a Dáil corridor and asked for £5 million.
