A Dublin man who raced his car at 170mph leading to an accident that killed a priest and two youths had his sentence adjourned again today because his lawyers did not have medical reports ready.
21-year-old Ernest Gore from Dingle Road, Cabra, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to reckless endangerment on the M50 just over three years ago.
Gore was in a Toyota Starlet racing against a Toyota Corolla which crashed, killing its two occupants and a priest travelling in another car on the other side of the motorway.
Judge Desmond Hogan was told details of the defendant's counselling were still not available, and he adjourned sentence again to 7 July, saying this situation was 'not satisfactory' and that the defence was being given one last chance.
