Bank of Ireland has withdrawn the offer of loan finance to Remnant Media, a soft-porn publisher, in the wake of controversy over the deal.
The decision follows calls by the National Council of Women and the Council of Religious for the closure of accounts if the bank continued its association with the publisher.
