The International Committee of the Red Cross has said the security barrier being constructed by Israel in the West Bank is contrary to humanitarian law, and should not be built.
The barrier crosses what the Red Cross and other international organisations regard as occupied territory.
The ICRC, which is based in Geneva, generally seeks to remain neutral, and rarely expresses an opinion on issues directly linked to the policies of countries.
