Seven Iraqis killed in Fallujah attacks

Seven Iraqis have been killed near the town of Fallujah, west of Baghdad, in two separate attacks.

Four women were shot dead when the minibus carrying them home from the US military base where they worked came under fire.

Five other women passengers and the driver of the bus were wounded. All of the women worked in the laundry at the base.

In the second attack, two policemen and a civilian motorist were killed in a gun and grenade attack at a checkpoint.

Two US soldiers killed

Earlier, two US soldiers were killed and another was injured in a mortar and rocket attack near the town of Baquba in central Iraq.
