Tight race for Iowa Democrat candidates

Opinion polls in the US State of Iowa suggest that the race to become the Democratic Presidential candidate has suddenly turned into a four-way contest.

Earlier polls suggested there were two front runners, Howard Dean and Dick Gephardt.

But two other candidates, John Kerry and John Edwards, have caught up with only a few percentage points between the four men.

The people of Iowa go to the polls tomorrow in the first vote in the selection process.
