Two suspected Islamic militants have been detained in Singapore during a raid on a group which is thought to be linked to al Qaeda.
The suspects belong to the Jemaah Islamiah network which was accused of plotting to attack western targets in Singapore in 2001.
Singapore is now holding 37 suspected Muslim militants, and has restricted the movements of 12 other people suspected of ties with extremist groups.
