Bremer reacts to Blair's WMD comments

The US administrator in Iraq has apparently dismissed Tony Blair's claim that Saddam Hussein had laboratories for developing weapons of mass destruction.

In an interview on British television, Mr Bremer at first rejects the claim but then retracts his statement when he realises it came from the British Prime Minister.

The interview is due to be broadcast later today.

Meanwhile, the US-led coalition in Iraq has put a $1 million bounty on the heads of a dozen of the 'most wanted' Iraqis still at large.

Officials said 42 of the 55 whose images apeared on a deck of cards issued to soldiers had been captured or killed.
