INO predicts difficulties in 2004

The Irish Nurses Organisation is predicting severe difficulties for areas of the health service next year.

It says the failure of the Government to allocate additional funding - for specific areas - in last week's budget will result in more overcrowding in A&E departments and long delays for patients on trolleys.
