Judge's NI killings findings delayed: report

It is been reported that the Canadian judge Peter Cory has recommended that the British and Irish governments establish public inquiries into a number of killings during the Troubles.

The killings include those of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane and the leading loyalist Billy Wright.

Judge Cory handed his report to the two governments in October, and it was expected to be published today.

But it is thought the British government has asked for its publication to be delayed.

This evening the family of Pat Finucane called on the Northern Secretary Paul Murphy to reveal what was in the judge's report.
