The Associaiton of Secondary Teachers has voted to lift its directive banning co-operation with the new Junior certificate science syllabus.
The decision was made at a meeting of the union's 23 member standing committee this evening.
Earlier, The Teachers' Arbritation Board found that the union's decision not to co-operate with the introduction of a new science syllabus was a breach of the Sustaining Progress partnership agreement.
The industrial relations' body found against the union in a report published today.
