British Prime Minister Tony Blair has returned to Downing street after being admitted to hospital earlier today with a heart problem.
He was taken from Downing Street to London's Hammersmith Hospital after complaining of feeling a little under the weather.
A Downing Street spokesman said 50-year-old Mr Blair was an acuteadmission at the hospital, where he was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat.
During a five-hour stay, he underwent a series of tests.
Mr Blair has been under a great deal of stress in recent months, particularly after the strains of the war in Iraq.
It was reported that he underwent a cardio conversion - which involves an injection of chemicals or electro shock therapy to stabilise the heartbeat.
Health experts said an irregular heartbeat can leave sufferers with palpitations and a shortness of breath.
UK Conservative party leader Iain Duncan Smith was quick to send his best wishes.
