Aer Lingus management and the cabin crew union, IMPACT, have been holding talks to try to resolve a dispute involving pay and productivity.
It is hoped the talks will avert two 24-hour stoppages by around 1,000 cabin crew scheduled for Thursday 23 October and Monday 27 October.
The meeting has been held under the auspices of the National Implementation Body - the group that monitors disputes arising from national pay agreements.
The cabin crew have already rejected two Labour Court recommendations, and have been engaged in a work-to-rule since early September.
