An American computer manufacturer has announced it is establishing a European operations office in Athlone in Co Westmeath, creating 80 jobs over the next five years.
The Alienware Corporation from Florida already employs 20 people at its European operations office in the Bliary Industrial Estate in Athlone.
Fifty workers will now be hired to deal with telesales and technical support.
Alienware manufactures computers for the gaming, graphics and digital video editing markets.
