Hundreds of Aer Rianta employees attended a meeting this afternoon at Dublin Airport to press local TDs on where they stand on Government plans to break up the company.
Twenty-two TDs from six constituencies were invited to the meeting and seven turned up.
While none of these was from Fianna Fáil, union leaders received a letter from Fianna Fáil TD Sean Haughey stating he was 'totally opposed' to the plan to break up the company.
Similar meetings are planned in Cork and Shannon.
A ballot for industrial action across Aer Rianta will be counted on Saturday.
