Two American soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan in clashes with suspected guerrillas according to to a military spokesman.
A third soldier was wounded during fighting in Paktitka province.
A number of so called ‘enemy fighters’ were killed in the fighting.
Yesterday, at least 20 suspected members of the Taliban were killed in clashes with American and Afghan forces.
The fighting took place in mountains around 200 miles south of the captial, Kabul. The clashes have been on going for the last week.
