China has urged all parties involved in the Korean nuclear dispute to continue the meeting process.
The call comes in response to North Korean claims that talks last week in Beijing had been ‘useless.’
Three days of talks involving North and South Korea, the United States, China, Japan and Russia wrapped up yesterday without the announcement of any tangible results.
The Chinese foreign ministry issued the statement after being asked to comment on North Korean statements earlier in the day blaming the talks in Beijing as ‘not only useless but harmful in every aspect.’
