Former dictator Amin dies in Saudi Arabia

The former dictator of Uganda, Idi Amin, has died in hospital in Saudi Arabia. He was in his late 70s.

He had been in a coma on a life support machine since the middle of July and doctors say he died of kidney failure.

Amin, who is blamed for the murder of tens of thousands of Ugandans in the 1970s, had been living in exile since his fall from power in 1979.
