This year’s Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis will be held in Killarney, the first time the conference has been held outside Dublin.
The party expects around 3,000 delegates to attend the event in the Co Kerry town.
For many years the Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis has been associated with the RDS in Dublin and latterly in the Citywest Hotel.
But the 67th party conference is to be held in Killarney, a move that represents a triumph for the organisation in Co Kerry.
This year’s conference, on 11 October, will be a one-day event and will be held in the Gleneagle Hotel.
The Ard Fheis will come a month after a special Fianna Fáil parliamentary party meeting to be held in Sligo.
