An opinion poll in the US has found that public support for President George W Bush is at its lowest level since January.
59% of respondents said they approved of Mr Bush's handling of his job, a fall of nine percentage points in three weeks.
The survey also found that a majority of people believes the casualty rate among American soldiers in Iraq is unacceptable.
The poll was carried out for the Washington Post and the ABC television network.
