British actress Laura Sadler died today five days after she plunged 40ftfrom a balcony, a hospital spokesman said.
The 22 year old suffered serious head injuries when she fell from the London apartment of her boyfriend and co-star George Calil early on Sunday.
Sadler, who played staff nurse Sandy Harper in BBC drama Holby City was taken to the intensive care unit at Charing Cross Hospital in west London.
Her mother, Sonya, kept a constant bedside vigil beside her daughter throughout her last days.
