Six people have been arrested in Kuala Lumpur, during a protest over the continued detention of Myanmar's opposition leader.
The six Myanmar nationals were among a group of about 50 who were protesting outside their country's embassy in the Malaysian capital, as part of a number of demonstrations on Aung San Suu Kyi's 58th birthday.
Aung San Suu Kyi was arrested late last month, along with other members of her National League for Democracy (NLD) party, following attacks on her supporters by a junta-backed mob in northern Myanmar.
Protests have been taking place in several Asian cities, and leaders of Asian countries have discussed her detention at the ASEAN talks in Phnom Penh.
Australian Foreign Minister Alexander Downer told reporters the Nobel peace laureate should have already been released, while the US Secretary of State Colin Powell described the junta as 'brutal'.
Myanmar's Foreign Minister Win Aung said he would take their comments back with him, but refused to reveal any plans to release the opposition leader.
