A new employment survey forecasts a stable labour market in the third quarter of this year.
The latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey shows that 12% of Irish employers will be taking on more staff in the three months from July to September.
The net employment outlook remains the same year-on-year at 12%.
Sixty-six per cent of companies plan to maintain their current staff levels.
The survey was conducted among a sample of over 850 companies on both sides of the border, and across 11 industry sectors.
