Last French Concorde flight lands in Paris

The French Concorde has landed in France for the last time after 27 years linking Paris and New York in supersonic style.

Crowds of admirers turned out in Paris to bid farewell to the high-tech jet.

Flight AF001 took off from John F Kennedy International Airport a little after its scheduled departure time of 8.00 am (local time), and touch down in Paris approximately 3 hours 40 minutes later.

More than 250 airport workers and maintenance staff formed a guard of honour yesterday when the jet left Paris with 58 passengers aboard for its final commercial round trip.
