At least three people have been killed and eight others were injured in an explosion on a bus in the southern Russian republic of Chechnya.
It is understood the bus was carrying workers to Russia's main military base just outside the capital, Grozny.
The attack coincides with the arrival of dozens of heads of state and government in St Petersburg to mark the 300th anniversary of its founding.
