The Labour Party has overtaken Fine Gael in public support, according to an opinion poll to be published in tomorrow's Irish Times.
The TNS/MRBI poll shows that Pat Rabbitte has the highest satisfaction raring of any party leader, while Enda Kenny and Trevor Sargent share the lowest.
Party support shows Fianna Fáil unchanged at 32%; Fine Gael down two at 20, behind Labour which is up six at 22; both the PDs and the Greens are down two at four; while Sinn Féin and Others are each unchanged at 9%.
Satisfaction with Bertie Ahern is down two at 41%, Mary Harney is unchanged at 45, Enda Kenny is down three at 26; Pat Rabbitte has the highest satisfaction rate at 49%, up five; while Trevor Sargent is down ten at 26; and Gerry Adams is up four at 48%.
Satisfaction with the Government has dropped another three points to 28%, while disatisfaction is up again to 65%.
