Rumsfeld confident Saddam will be found

The US Defence Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, has said he is confident that Saddam Hussein will be found, if he is still alive.

In a series of television interviews, he also said that chemical and biological weapons would be discovered once lower-ranking Iraqis came forward.

So far there has been no sign of any such weapons.

Mr Rumsfeld said the defeat of the Iraqi regime would serve as a powerful message to other nations with links to terrorism.
