One of the country's leading financial and tele-services companies, Fexco, has picked one of the country's most peripheral locations for a new call centre.
It has completed a €5,500,000 investment at Caherciveen in County Kerry.
FEXCO says it hopes to provide 200 jobs at the centre over the next two years.
However, there are fears for another one hundred and eighty jobs at a neighbouring textiles plant, Sports Socks International.
