Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council have been put on notice that protesters who lost an attempt to stop work at the Carrickmines Castle site yesterday are to appeal to the Supreme Court.
Their application for an interlocutory injunction, to restrain DLCC from removing section of the defenses at the Castle site, was denied in the High Court by Judge Lavan.
A statement from the two, Gordon Lucas and Mr. Dominick Dunne, said an attempt was made this morning to re-open communication between the self-styled Carrickminders and the DLCC and National Roads Authority.
They will hold a public meeting in Dún Laoghaire in the coming weeks, and organising other events in order to provide a forum for debate on the matter, they say.
