The Minister for Transport, Séamus Brennan, has received the report on the proposed second terminal at Dublin Airport.
The Minister was given the report by a committee headed by former Secretary of the Department of Finance, Paddy Mullarkey.
A spokesperson for the Department said the Minister was reviewing the contents of the report but would not comment further at this time.
The committee's remit was to examine the potential for a second terminal at Dublin Airport.
The Government has already received 13 submissions of interest in the project.
