Dublin is the third most expensive capital city in the EU, according to a cost of living survey by Mercer Human Resource Consulting.
With New York used as a base of 100 points, London is the most expensive EU capital with a score of 91, Copenhagen is second with 69.3, with Dublin third on 67.5, just ahead of Paris.
Dublin is 73rd in the world list, while London is 10th.
Hong Kong and Moscow are the world's most expensive cities, with Johannesburg the cheapest of the 144 surveyed.
