Quinn insists on more public services spending

Ruairi Quinn has said he will not enter Government after the general election if there is no agreement on increased spending on public services.

Speaking on RTÉ's This Week programme, the Labour Party leader said that if the public wanted better public services in transport, health and education then they would have to be willing to pay for them.

Mr Quinn said his party would not "raid" the National Pension Fund and was prepared to borrow for capital purposes.
