A Palestinian teenager has been shot dead in clashes with Israeli troops in the West Bank city of Tulkarem. Israeli forces reoccupied the city during the night.
Nine other Palestinians are said to have been wounded in a series of gun battles. The Israeli action was the latest in a series of reprisals for an attack by a Palestinian gunman who shot dead six people and wounded more than 30 at a Jewish gathering in Northern Israel last week.
