The Aer Rianta Director, Dermot O'Leary, has said that he sees no reason why anyone would want to seek his removal from the Fianna Fáil National Executive.
He repeated that he was not seeking preferential treatment for Liam Lawlor when he asked Dublin Airport staff to allow the Lawlor family to slip through a side door on their return from the United States.
This allowed the Dáil Deputy to avoid the media as he was returning to serve his second jail term for non-compliance with an order from the Flood Tribunal.
