Palestinian security sources say missiles fired from an Israeli ship have struck a Palestinian naval dock on the coast of the Gaza Strip. A one-storey building housing a naval police post was destroyed but there have been no reports of casualties.
Earlier, the Palestinian Authority said it had ordered the arrest of three of its security officers who have been accused by Israel of being involved in an attempt to smuggle a shipload of weapons into Palestinian-ruled areas last week. Two of the suspects are officers in the naval police.
