Several people were injured in paramilitary-style attacks in the North overnight. A man in his 40s was shot in both legs by a gang of youths at Pitt Place, in the Mountpottinger area of east Belfast.
In the north of the city, a man of 34 was shot in the leg in the Tiger's Bay area. Also at Ballycastle in County Antrim, two men and a woman were injured when three masked men forced their way into a house and attacked them with clubs.
