The Israeli Foreign Minister has said that he will meet with the Palestinian President next week. The meeting is to take place in the Middle East and has a goal of achieving a ceasefire.
However, Shimon Peres did not specify exactly when or where the meeting would take place but he said it would be the first of three meetings between himself and Yasser Arafat.
During a visit to Italy, he told reporters that the ultimate goal was more than just an end to violence.
