A three-day strike at Dublin port, due to begin tomorrow, has been cancelled. SIPTU, which represents general operatives at the port, confirmed the move this evening. The general operatives were due to take the action over a claim for the reinstatement of relativities and changes to work practices. Tonight, SIPTU said that the port company had conceded their claim on relativities, and that the productivity issues would be referred to the Labour Relations Commission.
