Counting of votes has begun in the Westminster by-election in South Antrim caused by the death of Ulster Unionist MP Clifford Forsythe. The seat is expected to go to either the UUP Candidate David Burnside or the DUP's William McCrea. A victory for the DUP would put severe pressure on David Trimble and the whole peace process. The other candidates are David Collins of the Natural Law Party, David Ford of Alliance, Martin Meehan of Sinn Féin and Donovan McClelland of the SDLP.
