Schoolboy killed in French road accident

A 15-year-old Scottish schoolboy has been killed, and at least eleven other people have been injured, in a coach crash in France. The dead boy has been named as Craig Norsworthy, from Edinburgh. The vehicle in which he was travelling overturned on a motorway near the central city of Clermont Ferrand. The coach was carrying 40 schoolchildren from England and Scotland, together with several adult helpers, to an activity holiday centre. Police said it was thought the driver had fallen asleep at the wheel.
