There are fresh hopes for an end to the two-year border war between Ethiopia and Eritrea. The peace plan, drawn up by the Organisation of African Unity calls for an end to hostilities and for a UN peacekeeping force to patrol a 15-mile buffer zone along the disputed border. The agreement is expected to be signed on Saturday.
