500 Ugandan cult members may have died in fire

Officials in Uganda now believe that up to 500 people may have died following a blaze in a church belonging to a so-called 'Doomsday Cult' in the south west of the country. The deaths had initially been described as suicide, but the discovery of more bodies this morning, along with the remains of children and babies have led police to believe that some of the victims were murdered. Those who died were followers of a religious cult known as the Restoration of the Ten Commandments of God.
