There are fears this evening that unofficial strike action by ESB workers at Ferbane Power Station in County Offaly could spread. Day workers at the power station, who are members of the AT&GWU Union, have been protesting for the second day running after talks aimed at resolving a dispute over working duties broke down. It is now expected that day workers at Moneypoint Power Station and other generating stations around the country will take supportive action when they turn up for work in the morning.
