Sport: Fowler charged with misconduct

Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler was today charged with misconduct by the FA after his controversial goal celebration during last weekend's Merseyside derby match against Everton. Fowler has publicly apologised for pretending to snort cocaine along a goal-line in front of the Everton fans. The fans had been goading him with taunts about allegations of drug use. However, after reviewing TV evidence from the game last Saturday, FA chiefs were determined to bring disciplinary charges against Fowler.
