A second man is due in court in Limerick today in connection with the death of 22-year old John Carroll, whose body was found in a laneway near Newport in Co Tipperary on Friday.
One man has already been charged with Mr Carroll's murder.
William Roche, aged 20 and from Killaloe in Co Clare, was brought before a special sitting of Limerick District Court last night. He was remanded in custody until next Thursday
Two women were also detained by gardai yesterday in connection with the death. One was released without charge. The other is still being held at Killaloe.
