This light and fluffy cake comes together in one bowl, making it incredibly fuss-free.
Ingredients
- 125g butter melted and cooled
- 225g self raising flour
- 220g caster sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 125ml milk
- 500g peaches slices
- 125g raspberries
Method
- Place the butter, flour, sugar and vanilla, baking powder, eggs and milk in a bowl and whisk until well combined.
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.
- Lightly grease a baking tin and use grease proof paper.
- Spread the cake mixture into the tin, press down the fruit on top.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes.
- Allow to cool and serve with cream.
